Reply To: When did you “graduate” from church?

I’ve mentioned my 2004 “Sabbatical” from church elsewhere on this forum. I would date my actual graduation at or around the start of Advent the following year, 2005. Wouldn’t it be something if, maybe once a year, there would be a “Graduation” ceremony for everyone who is moving on from church, to pursue their spiritual development in other ways. I have only been in church on very rare occasions since 2005. The most recent was to attend a Christmas Day Mass at a grand old cathedral in Montpellier, France in 2022.
