“Spirituality is the search to integrate life.”

A recent article on the changing definitions of spirituality over time (see “Definition and Meaning”) used this phrase three times, in three slightly different contexts:

• Spirituality
• Christian Spirituality
• Biblical Spirituality

That in itself was not so interesting, but I am intrigued by this phrase “the search to integrate life,” which the article did not attempt to define.

Do you agree with this statement that “spirituality is the search to integrate life” ? And if so, can you rephrase it in other words that begin to help define it?
